Redcliffe, Bristol Harbour
These historic caves comprise a complex series of artificial interconnecting passages and small chambers covering an area of about an acre.
They were mainly dug by miners extracting the red sandstone for the local glass industry, but many features reflect later use of the passages for storage and dumping.
