Mendip Lodge Wood, Burrington Combe

Along with Goatchurch Cavern and Sidcot Swallet, Rod's Pot is one of the 'Top Three' Burrington caves. Its popularity is based on its sporting aspects - particularly the crawling and climbing.

It has recently been greatly extended by digging, and the creation of a link to neighbouring Bath Swallet has added a popular through trip to its attractions. The cave once boasted some attractive calcite decorations, but only a few muddied examples in the Main Chamber have survived the onslaught of passing cavers.
